According to Henry's article, Lowry thinks they had him throwing too
early. I don't know how extensive the surgery was, but two weeks
sounds a bit early for a guy with muscle and nerve problems in his arm
and hand. Then again, if you don't start moving it, there's scarring
and more problems to deal with.
Our shoulder surgeon is a big believer in getting shoulders in motion
right after surgery and he's had excellent results.
