I missed it, so I don't know the extent of it, but I'd agree that it's not
right to boo him on his first day back, at his first at bat. It's too bad he
couldn't have returned while at home to get a home town reaction.

The way the DBacks been playing, maybe not. By all rights with the talent on
this team we should own the wild card by now, if not the division. Fans
booing has nothing to do with that, however. |

I think they are lower than low class, they are the scungy scum that one has
to scrap from the barrels bottom.
It appears that the majority of the Dbacks fans had lobotomies which turned
them into brain dead supercilious pratts. I can see no other reasonable
explanation for booing a man who has recently lost his father.

I wasn't at the game and I'm glad I wasn't. Even if you don't like someone,
show some class to a man who just lost his father. I was at the game on Aug.
23rd when they announced Bobby Bonds' passing and they had a moment of silence
before the National Anthem was played. With 35,000+ people there you could have
heard a pin drop it was so quiet.
