Redding - For whatever reason, Tim Redding pitches well in spots but always seems to have one bad inning which he can't recover. Against the Brewers he cruises through the first two innings then gives up a costly walk Ginter and then hits the next batter to force.

Redding Sent Down . . . - to AAA and Chad Qualls brought up. Also, Darren Oliver was put on the DL and Carlos Hernandez was promoted to the big club. My question is when is Gallo going to be sent down and Weathers released? These two guys cannot not be counted on to protect any

Demote Redding?? - Another poor outing by Redding. It appears he has one good game then three bad ones. Jimy has shown extreme patience with Redding; however, it may be time to ship him down to AAA when Petitte returns. Do we have any pitching prospects in AAA or AA? ..

Both Lidge and Redding have had poor outings as of late. Redding is
looking more like the pitcher he was the previous two seasons and
Lidge may be showing signs of being overworked.
