Why do people say Cabrera is lazy. I notice that when
he runs to first it seems he's not as fast as he could
go. If you think he's lazy what are some other reasons?
Runs Per Season;
31' Yankees (1,067)
99' Indians (1,009)
2008 Tigers (214)

Because he's fat too?

For his height/weight, he's no fatter than Guillen or
Renteria and a damn sight thinner than Prince Fielder
or "Big Poppy" for that matter. Are they Lazy too?
My original question was if you or anyone else think
he's Lazy....why? When I watch him I don't like the
way he sometimes runs to first, but other than that
why is the term "Lazy" being applied to him?
Runs Per Season:
31' Yankees (1,067)
99' Indians (1,009)
2008 Tigers (222)

Papi is spanish for father or "poppy", but yeah he's called Big Papi.
And on the lazy issue, I do not think Cabrera is lazy. He's one of
the first on the field to work out and one of the last to leave. All
of the coaches have described him as a hard working player. I've
never heard him called lazy.

Me neither. Okay, he's not as fast as some other guys, but he's supposed to
hit the ball 450 feet.

All your references are a year ago and we already know
he lost weight before spring training.

It looks to me like he's been putting some of it back on.
