Late inning stategy question.

Question: Edgar Rodriguiz started at short yesterday. That's fine, but
why not bring Greene back in for defense to help close out the game. I
don't think Greene is gonna freeze and not make a play like the one
that got the Giants the winning run yesterday. Seem's odd to have your
defensive shortstop on the bench in the the 9th. Doesnt matter what
Greene is hitting by then. Just needed outs. Strange decision Mr.
Black.

Edgar (Gonzales) - should have been out of the game and Kahlil in, no
question. The genius that is Bud Black said he was committed to the
full day off for Greene. Even though he didn't put Greene in for
defensive purposes he had the infield out of position with the count
full. There is no way you play for that double play with runners in
motion. Black and his coaches don't get fundamental baseball that is
why we look like the dumbest team in all of major league baseball.
