"According to a report from Impacto Deportivo, the White Sox have
reached a preliminary agreement with the burly right-hander on a one-
year deal, pending a physical."

At the end of the article (on WhiteSox.com) they said the deal would
be a minor league contract. Both Floyd and reliever/potential fifth
starter Nick Masset are out of options.

IF the Sox scouted Bartolo and saw that he can still throw, then this
could be a good deal for the Sox. If in the end he's done, then if
it's a minor league deal then no loss.

He has been fighting injuries for the past couple of seasons. I think
the number of innings he logged has taken its toll. Having said that, if
he is reasonably healthy, he and Jose could be fighting for the four hole.
