I don't know...the way I remember it... Frank was in one of his "big
pain-in-the-ass" moods and somebody needed to tell him that his conduct was
bringing down the team. It seems that Konerko was appointed or took on the
responsibility himself. I don't seem to remember him being arrogant about
or particularly rude about it and the general consensus was that it was
something that somebody had to do.
