Kershaw

Went to the game last night, and even from the (medium) cheap seats,
got a different feel for Kershaw than from watching tv.

He seems to have three different mechanics, one for the fastball, one
for the curve, and another for what looks like a slider but the board
reports as 84mph "fastball" (compared to his real 94mph fastball).
The slider motion is *much* smoother and more efficient than the
others. And while I suppose no 94mph fastball is easy to hit, he
doesn't particularly seem to be fooling the big leaguers with his.
Maybe if he can work on his mechanics?

And of course, once again he went to full counts too often, and gave
up four runs.
