That's the sound of the Twins and Tigers plummeting down the ALC
standings. The way things are going now, the Indians will finish in
2nd, Twins in 3rd and Tigers in 4th unless KC gets hot.

Oh yeah, put Chris Lambert on the same bus with Gary Glover back to
Toledo.

Are you high?

The Twins are only 2 games back and currently 16 games over .500.

Where are the Tigers again?

Oh yeah, 12 games back and 4 games UNDER .500.

The way things are going, I see the ChiSox *maybe* ending up with the
division and the Twins coming in a close second and perhaps getting
the Wild Card (if they don't outright beat the ChiSox for the lead in
September).

Don't lump the Twins in with your hapless Tigers...the Twins are
obviously the MUCH better ALC team this season.

Puting your Tigers on par with the faltering Indians makes more sense.

The Twins have lost a few on the road, but they are hardly plummeting
to the sub-.500 depths of the Tigers or Indians. The Twins are closer
to .600 than they are to .500 right now.

Maybe. They're certainly not running away with it.

One thing it's not, this is NOT the year of the Tigers. LOL

For the division, maybe. The Angels will go to the World Series.

Yes, it would be nice to see Torii get a ring after all those years of first
round losses.

Don't matter where the Tigers are. Indians are the story. 10-0 in
their last 10 while the Twins are 5-5 (winning only 1 against the
Mariners LOL!) and the White Sox are 7-3.

Now you might get a break as the Twins go to Oakland and the White Sox
go to Boston but the Twins better not blink because the Indians are
going home to face the Mariners and I doubt they are going to lose 2
games to the Mariners. Indians are 9.5 behind the Twins with 30 some
games to go. Last season at about this same time the D'Backs were 6.5
games out of first and ended up winning their division.

But finishing 2nd or 3rd or 4th doesn't mean squat. Like the year the
Twins won the ALC but lost in the first round of the playoffs. You
got butkus.

Lost a few on the road? Twins are 29-38 on the road. That's more
than a few and your road journey isn't over for awhile.

It would because Santana may not get there with the Mets. I like the
Rays and Cubs in the WS.

I like the Angels, and they've been playing some good ball this
season.

Personally, I'd like to see Hunter get a ring, too. He's a great
player and he's playing some good ball this season.

I'd like to see an Angels/Cubs WS, that would be entertaining to
watch.

I hope the ALCS is Rays/Angels. Would be a very interesting series, but I'd
pick the Angels.

True, but the D'Backs of last season were a much better team than
this seasons Indians, IMO.

The Indians streak will come an end soon, and they'll be back
to playing the sub-.500 ball they have the rest of the season.
The only team the Indians will beat out for anything is the Tigers
for 3rd place in the division.

Personally, I'll consider this season a big success for the Twins
if they win the division or Wild Card. Hell, no matter what happens
it has been a good season for the Twins pretty much all season.
That's a lot more than Tigers fans can say about their team.

True, but they more than make up for it with home field dominance.
