I still remember Game 4 of the 2003 ALDS; you know, the one that
FOULKE BLEW to cost the A's their best shot at the World Series this
decade.
Yep, this is the Oakland A's organization. It's one thing to bring
back Rickey Henderson, and it's another thing altogether to bring back
Keith Foulke. >> Stay informed about: Keith Foulke Returns |

Yep, while they let Marco Scutaro go. I wouldn't doubt that the A's trade
Street soon.
This is the DUMBEST A's organization since Finley's fire sale.

When a shapeshifting cocaine addict and a janitor for an Indian casino both
disapprove of a baseball decision by lifelong baseball man and two-time
world series winner Billy Beane, you can be pretty sure it's probably a good
decision.
Welcome back Keith, hope you make the favorite team of actual A's fans
better.

Seriously, Shooty, the ad hominems are pathetic. What do you do for a
living? What skeletons do you have in your closet?
This is such a pathetic logical fallacy -- attack the messenger when
you don't like the message. You're the biggest cunt on this newsgroup
simply because you resort to such see-through tactics used by stupid
people. You're just like Hillary Clinton.

Actual A's fans = sycophants who belong on the Pollyanna site
AthleticsNation.com
Heaven forbid we criticize anyone in the world ... *sigh*. Shooty
clearly isn't an American. >> Stay informed about: Keith Foulke Returns |

Gee, David Ortiz laced a ball to deep right off him in a clutch AB.
It sucked, but It's not like something weird or unexpected happened
there. The real disaster of that series was of course the mental
mistakes by Byrnes and Tejada in game 3.
I like this move. Foulke is one of the best relief pitchers ever. He
went six straight years with 65+ appearances and an ERA below 3.00
from 1999 to 2004. That's just sick. He might be washed up due to
age and injuries, but there's also some huge upside potential. if he's
fit and sharp.. And the A's got him pretty cheap, so there doesn't
seem to be anything to complain about. >> Stay informed about: Keith Foulke Returns |
