Just got home........ Maybe they were just setting 'em up for the 3rd
inning.
I don't envy Manny trying to figure out a lineup with these guys.
Belliard getting on three times and not scoring in a 7-0 game is weird.
Zim's batting .348 over the last week, although I only seem to notice the
K's.
As soon as you think he should drop somebody down in the order, they come
through..... [like Kearns and Church as I type this...] >> Stay informed about: Kearns - Strikes out; Church - Strikes out |

Oh well, when Logan did come up before Pena, he didn't get on.
Pena's career with the Nats: 5-11 (.455 avg/ .571 obp), 3 rbi, 2 hr, 1
2b, 4 runs, 3 walks.

You get your wish anyway. I don't like it myself. A speed guy in the 8th
slot makes walking him to get to the pitcher a little more perilous,
especially with less than two outs or late when a PH can come in.
Lopez - 6
Logan - 8
Zimmerman - 5
Young - 3
Kearns - 9
Pena - 7
Belliard - 4
Schneider - 2
Hanrahan - 1 >> Stay informed about: Kearns - Strikes out; Church - Strikes out |

<looking down and shuffling feet, mumbling...> ahem, at least I didn't
add my thoughts of perhaps dropping Zimmerman down in the order, too......

I think for at least one night, his last name should be listed as Ogan.
Definitely no 'L'. A fabulous night.

Yeah, great night for Ogan.......... I was so hoping he'd get the hit
after the intentional walk, just to cap off the night, and he did. Best
hitter since the break. >> Stay informed about: Kearns - Strikes out; Church - Strikes out |
