Well, if there's a fitting way for the D-Backs' postseason hopes to come
to an end, I'd say last night's 20-9 stomping was as fitting as you could
get.
Sadly, the outing appears to have put a serious crimp in Brandon Webb's
hopes for Rookie of the Year, even though he's still hands-down the best
rookie pitcher in the NL, and still probably deserves ROY honors.
