KC goes to the top of the ninth inning leading 5 - 1. Greinke is
pitching a great game! KC is hitting the ball good tonight with 11
hits. It would be good if they could get a few more runs. I read a
blog stating they had not scored over 5 runs in a game this season. I
did not check to see if that was accurate or not.

Lets Go Royals! Get some more runs... pitch the bottom of the ninth
and win the game.

Nice, Greinke improves to 3 - 0 and the Royals win 5 - 1. Nice job
Royals! Greinke allowed 5 hits and 1 run. Nice!

The pitching staff in general have been amazing.

Grieke 0.75 era
Bannister 0.86
tomko 2.08

And the bullpen has only given up 3 runs so far this season.

Grienke's era actually went down again too...even in the 9th his stuff was
filthy. Im not willing to lead the band yet, but its getting awfully hard
not to start thinking this team could actually contend this year.

Tonight we get Bale (0-2). It would be nice to get him going to or at
least a couple innings deep in the game. Bring in our relievers to
finish it out. Tonight would be a good breakout night for our bats to
give Bale a good cushion.

It truely feels like we have a bullpen. So much fun!

Hopefully we will break out of that tonight!

Cheers to you on the Royals good start. (from a Tigers fan). I look
forward to our teams meeting again but hope that the Tigers are on track
first.

It's nice to see the Royals do well (against the OTHER teams). Smile

John,

Thanks for the words. Yes, it has been good to have the Royals off to a
good start. They lost tonight in the second game against Seattle. I have
been checking in on the Tigers board too.... There have been some
interesting posts on that board. I will watch for you in the posts...
Two back-to-back wins tonight, right? Nice!

LOL Yeah, it will be interesting to see how the Royals do win they meet
up with Detroit again. See where both teams are at when they meet up
again.

The Tigers board is kind of a mess to be honest. A few loud mouths, an
idiot from the Minn. Twins board that is simply trolling but EVERYONE on the
Tigers board responds to him. So, I read there alot but don't post as much
as I used to.

Yeah, Tigers have won 2 in a row. Wohooooo... Now we have Cleveland for a 4
game set. Tigers are fine really, I think it's between Clev and Detroit for
the Central and Clev. is only 1 game ahead of Detroit.

I do think KC is for real and has a good shot for .500. You guys are moving
up in the division for sure.

Gotta love the loud mouths. I check into some windows xp groups and there
are a few there that cuss out anyone who posts. Amazing what some people
do behind the mask of a e-mail address that does not identify them.

It is good to see this board picking up a little. Hopefully it picks up a
bit more. I like posting on here while a game is going on. The Royals
are winning tonight 3 - 0 and Meche has pitched two straight scoreless
innings. We need him to step and get the win tonight. We need him to be
strong along with Bannister and Greinke. That would be nice!

Wow! Detroit put in a lot of runs in their game (13 - 2). Geez. The
Royals finally scored more than five runs in a game last night and they
lost. Doh!

The AL Central is going to be interesting this year. If the Royals can
keep up winning a few games each week, we are going to be a contender.
Detroit seems like they are getting past the craziness they had at the
start of the season. So it will be interesting to see what they do.

Good to hear coming from a Detroit fan. Smile It is nice having something
to cheer about for the Royals with just a few weeks left in April. The
last few seasons we were out of it in April.

Later....

John
