It would seem to me that a Joe Torre has the good fortune to have his baseball team get hot at the right time a great deal more often than a Dusty Baker. Hey - even the announcers said that the Dodgers had lost 8 in a row and suddenly Manny shows up and they win 21 out of 30 I would say in any sport that winning 21 of 30 means the team is hot.
