I'm sure we've all heard about Jimmy berating his players
about giving away at bats. What I want to know is why does
he give away Sunday Games? The Team is averaging 2 runs
a game on Sunday and have lost all seven (the Yankee
rainout was also a Sunday game). I don't think his Team
has the luxury of resting its' starters all on the same
day of the week. Every Sunday we invariably find Thames,
Inge and Raburn or Santiago or a combination in the
starting lineup. I can understand the reason for resting
starters, but you would think he could spread it out
throughout the week instead of heaping all the "B-Team"
incompitance on us at once. They have scored 3 runs or
less in 6 of 7 Sunday games. His predictability has cost
this Team many games and is only one of the reasons He
is less than a .500 lifetime manager and vastly overrated.

Runs Per Season:
31' Yankees (1,067)
99' Indians (1,009)
2008 Tigers (246)

Well...it's like this, snappy. You see, God created the world, the earth
and everything in the first six days and rested on the seventh day. Since
he created everything and the Tigers were ultimatley created on the day he
was resting, then they must rest in honor of their sleeping father and try
to make it up to him by not trying very hard on Sundays.

If they wanted to make it up to Him and their fans, they
could just forfeit. Much easier on everyone.
