Oh Doctor !

Quite a surprise last night to hear a radio politcal commercial
featuring the voice of our own Colonel Jerry Coleman.

Nope, he did not speak up for McCain, Hillary or Obama !

Instead, he endorsed in a local contest for San Diego
City Attorney (the Colonel likes city councilman Brian
Maineschein for the job).

The ad was purely positive, no beanballs were fired at
the other candidates. But that is the Colonel.

The Colonel makes a political ad and Icberg makes an appearance. I
sense a disturbance in the force.

He doesn`t have anything else better to do, does he?

This is the worse team in many years.

I haven`t looked at an entire game all week.

Might just as well get interested in politics!

Please tell me there`s hope in the horizon!

Barb:

Some wisdom from Hall of Fame Manager Earl Weaver:

"The worse it gets, the Better it Gets."

Things have gotten so bad the front office had to admit
the Jim Edmonds deal was a disaster. They let him go
and brought back Jody Gerut from Portland.

This appears to be the first of several moves. Let's hope
they give more players on the Farm a chance.

Good to see your back here. You were missed !
