The scoop is the Crew's offering Jeff Weaver an incentive-laden minor-league
contract. He's only 31, and God knows Doug Melvin and Gord Ash have
unearthed some awesome gems, think Gabe Kapler, so he's worth taking a look
at. Myself, I'd rather have his younger brother, Jered Weaver

That's scary, as the Cards went last year so did Weaver? Not-a-lot of money
