If the Jays were in the NL Central...

Lets go Jays - A big win today. A day off tomorrow. And then Doc shuts down Boston. Come on Jays . Lets make it happen.

Jays - So far the Jays remind me of the Twins of 2002 (I am a Twins fan btw). They battle you to the end and have a solid staff of hurlers. I hope fans turn out to the Rogers Centre. It's an exciting team to watch.

Jays Cap - I haven't seen the jays wearing their caps recently. I might have missed some of the games but I remember that they wore the grey caps always with the home jersey colours - anybody know why they've stopped wearing them? Thanks in advance!

Jays at .500 - After 6 games the Jays have to the level that they will find at the end of the year. The Jays are a .500 club. Which is what they were last year. It says here, again, that the money Ricky Ricardo spent on free agents was a waste..

Will the Jays... - win one, then lose one...for the entire season? is boring 81-81 here they come!

They would be tied with the Brewers and Cubs for the division lead.

Parody? Not in MLB.

I suspect you mean parity, but, either way, the comparison is not valid
because they don't play the same teams as the Brewers and Cubs. There no way
of knowing how they would fare if they did.

I don't know, sometimes the team's management operates like a parody
of a real baseball team.

I agree to a certain extent. They are in a really tough division, but that
still is no excuse for poor management. Richardi has killed this team.

.................................../

I also agree but and this is no admonishment to ricky,he inherited a
team in turmoil to begin with coming off
recent successes and equally unsuccessful teams.

I hate to say it put at least Ash stocked
the farm a little better, his big gufaaaaaa
was the sirotka deal....cost him his job
and look who he works for now!

His so called 5 year plan fizzled horribly
on several counts

1/ he is inept at makeing deals solely on
stats from previous also rans.

2/ i would hate to have him as my financial advisor he spent lots of
mr.rogers money and got not much
in return,once bitten twice shy
My guess is rogers will become even
less willing to sink money into a barley
500 team.
Rogers is about money and things that dont make money for him are not
long
for this world.

3/his field manager is his puppet and does
his dirty work for him aka Lilly....who'btw
has had two decent years and could have
been had cheaper than the one in ten
wonder burnett.

4/there is no one left down on the farm
to bring up when players are forced to
play injured,(or not),but the simple fact
of the matter is jp decimated the farm
system to save $.....and now the cupboard
is bare.

5/ other would be trade teams obliviously
don't like dealing with an oakland cast off
and a r-sox wana be,,,,,

6/and lastly he will probably still be around much to my disdain he will
there for another 5 years, who else would wantthe job,,,some say
Ernie, but he is cut from different cloth and his disdain for jp is quite
evident.

Even though the team suffered injury?
all season long, and being replaced by
guys barley out of aa hurt the team and
chemistry hard.
Again I am certainly not trying to make
excuses for jp his time is up and has
been for a long time,

Btw who would you suggest as replacements for jef and his lap dog
mutt,,,,just curious?
