Kenny Rogers had another quality start and got nothing to show for it.
He only gave up 1 earned run in 7 innings. And the Tiger bats finally
exploded for 6 runs in the 8th to gain a comeback 8-4 win. Marcus
Thames hit his 100th career home run. This guy needs to play
everyday.

Zach Miner tried to give the game back to the Indians as only Miner
can do by giving up a run in the 9th but Todd Jones shut the door on
them.

Todd got his 9th save of the season and 310th career save, which ties
him for 17th place on the all-time list with Goose Goosage.

Tigers broke a 4 game losing streak. Let's see if they can put back
to back wins together. They have a good chance of getting their
second Sunday win this season with Galarraga (4-2) going against
Jeremy Sowers (0-0) who was just recalled due to the season ending
injury to Jake Westbrook.
