For anybody who's been watching the 1st 2 innings of this game, I'd like to
know what's on your mind. That was quite an impressive performance by our
starter.

I boldly predict that sorry ass biggest loser top 5 institution graduate
will make a post here about this.

only 57 pitches in the first 2 innings. I saw let him pitch all 9 so
he throws his arm out.

Fresno! Send him to Fresno and keep Misch. While he didn't get great
help from those "defensive" lapses, he's the one responsible for
hitting the strike zone and he's got no control. He needs to leave
baseball for a while, perhaps permanently and get his head squared
away. I know players tend to tail off over the years, but his loss of
control means there's something more than physical wrong with him.

Imagine if Misch was starting instead of Zito. Giants might be a .500
team

Bochy better some how schedule Zito's starts to be all on the road.
Fans don't wanna watch the other team have batting practice during the
game. Might save Zito's life too.

If Zithead went to Fresno maybe there would be a pitching coach that could
help him, cuz Rags has no clue and neither does the SF Giants brain trust.

After the game Misch walked passed Zito and said to him: "See, it's not that
hard."

Told you that loser would show up for this. What a predictable loser.

Much as I rag on Rags, I have to take his side on this. I offer
Lincecum, Sanchez and Cain as good examples of Rags working out well
with his pitchers. Even Correia, before he was injured, was pitching
well. The Giants have a very good rotation going for them and Rags is
responsible.

As for Zito's head, what ya gonna do? They made a good start by
taking him out of the rotation and breaking that negative cycle he's
in. If he's physically fit, then it'd definitely his head.

One of the Chron writers alluded to the idea that he's afflicted with
something akin to what Steve Sax dealt with during his career. The
pressure of the big contract and big expectations has proven to be too
much for him and he can't admit. Maybe some time alone with Rags will
make him face reality.

Did Sax ever overcome his problem with throwing to 1st?
