....and I'm not talking about the fans.
Great game last night! I got there late and missed Casilla's
homer, but no problem, the night would provide many more.
Kubel's homer into the upper deck was a nice one...Mauer's
game winning run was a thing of beauty.
Blackburn didn't pitch a great game, but luckily he got the run
support from the offense and another nice outing from the
bullpen...including another nice Nathan save.
Ten in a row....gotta love that!
(Oh yeah...also got there too late to get my "tacky camo hat",
oh well.)

Casilla made a great play diving to his left to snare a hard smash and
save a run. He sprained his middle finger on his glove hand but I hope
he can play tonight. He's turned into quite a player.
I've got Branyan, Kubel, and Mauer on my fantasy team so it was a good
night for me too! >> Stay informed about: Homer-fest at the Dome... |

Yeah, in the paper today they made it sound like his injury wasn't
too serious....so hopefully he'll be back soon.

I have Mauer, Mourneau and Nathan on my fantasy team...and I had Gomez,
but after his stolen bases dropped he wasn't worth that much to me so I traded him
for Giambi....a move I don't regret....yet.
Right now I'm second in my league of ten and have been pretty much all season...
the guy in first is ahead of us all by a couple hundred points. He's going to be
tough to catch.
My secret? Not a single Tigers player on my fantasy roster.

Good move. I'm surprised your league allowed it. Weird. I just traded
Cliff Lee for Giambi. I figured Lee was going to head south, but he
pitched 8 innings giving up 1 run and striking out 11 the day after I
traded him. I might live to regret that trade.

I'm in a similar situation. I'm in third place now, was in first for
most of May, but now I'm about 300 points out of first.

I just picked up Kenny Rogers after Chien Ming Wang went down with an
injury. That's my only Tiger, though. >> Stay informed about: Homer-fest at the Dome... |

It wasn't for Gomez straight up, I also packaged Zack Greinke in that
deal...who I was going to release anyway. I picked up Lackey from
free agency in place of Greinke, once I saw he was coming off of the DL.

Yeah, I had Wang, too...I picked up Jair Jurrjens as his replacement.
So far, so good.

I know I'm jumping in a bit late on this thread, but I've only got Galarraga
on mine. Everyone else was too inconsistent at the beginning of the year. >> Stay informed about: Homer-fest at the Dome... |

I purposely omitted all Tigers players from my draft rankings prior to
the season (especially the pitchers), more out of a dislike of the
Tigers than any tactical move (well, maybe omitting the Tigers
pitching was a bit of a tactical decision).
In hindsight, it was a brilliant move!
