Yes, his .176 average with the Pads this year was phenominal. In 34 at bats,
he scored four runs on six hits and had two RsBI, struck out six times, and
walked four times. How is that any better than anything that Weeks has done?
BTW, you do know that the Brewers reaquired Crabbe a week or two ago, right?

Why would they do that? Gwynn will be the starting, everyday center-fielder
next year, and for the first time in years, they'll have a real, true
lead-off man! (If not, for the first time in my life, I will jump off the
Brew Crew bandwagon and maybe even join the sCrUBS bandwagon. Meh..... maybe
not.)
