With Wayne mentioning that the whole pitching staff seems to be behind
with their pitching, the only two who have seemed to be close to where
they should be about now are, Benitez and Lincecum.

Sure, Lincecum is heading for Fresno, but he looked a lot further
ahead on his work than most of the starters. And now we come to
Armando, who the Giants cannot afford to trade as he's effective
during his stints on the mound.

If the Giants were to trade Benitez, the closer role would fall to
Brian "Beachboy" Wilson.

Excellent point, Pat. Ortiz looks like he's got a lock on a starting
spot in the rotation. None the less, as I usually do every spring,
I'll continue to push for the rookies to stick with the parent team.
