I didn't know he's into the derivatives markets.

=============
Hampton, who has missed the past two seasons recovering from separate
surgical procedures on his left elbow, is in the final year of a $121
million contract. Whether or not he throws a single pitch, he will
receive $15 million this year.

The only way he wouldn't receive the entirety of this salary would be if
he opted to retire.
============

Hampton: I'm not going to give up $15M, errrr, make it "I'm not going to
give up, I'm just not sure how long it's going to take."

Exactly, and I can't say I blame hime. Meanwhile the team says, "Well, we're
going to make you work in rehab."

Bobby sounds deliberate enough in talking about him that I think he's sick
of the guy.

Yup, I had the same feeling reading BC words after Hampton first (this
season) injury. Bobby was saying the right things but I it reads like
"Get him away from me, I don't want have nothing common with him".

That's not good - derivatives are going to crash. Again.
