Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - The Atlanta Braves have signed left-handed
pitcher Mark Redman. The 33-year old went 11-10 last season with
Kansas City last season and was the Royals' All-Star
representative. ... He is scheduled to report to the Braves Friday
night and will start Saturday's exhibition game. He will be making the
start that Mike Hampton was scheduled to make before he injured an
oblique muscle Wednesday.

Well, at least he looks more durable than HoRam or Hampton.

Very troubling.

Similar injury has derailed the career of many- takes a long time to
recover from and for a pitcher can lead to a change in mechanics that
can cause arm problems.

Hopefully he will NOT try to rush back.
