The Tigers will still probably make the playoffs this season, it's
just a question of whether they will do it as the division champ
or the wild card.

The Twins are playing good ball, but the Sox are doing their
usual late season collapse...so I think the race now is to see which
two teams from the AL Central make the playoffs. My money is on
the Tigers and Twins...just not necessarily in that order.

I'm really, really really, really, really, really, really, really, really
sorry that you STILL can't grasp the concept of a win in April, and the fact
that a mere two wins vs KC in the first month or two would now have your
team in a first place tie.

If you are comparing the 2 head to head series, this one and April, they are
exactly the same. Just now is more dramatic, but no more or less important.

Not even close. Phillies and Cubs lost with larger leads than ten
with far less games left. IIRC it was 1983 for the Cubs and the year
of the miracle Mets.

I don't think they are choking, but the hitting wasn't ever "really"
