Post subject: Grover steps down; Lost the Passion or WTF?

Hypothesis #1; One of the first things a person has to do from time to
time is ask themselves "Am I getting up in the morning looking forward
to going to work?". If the answer is "No" then finding another job or
line of work is a must.

Hypothesis #2; Management looked at the bottom line (avg attendance up
+4k/game) and decides they can "afford" to hire a "better" skipper.

Me - I'm hoping it's #1 with no amount of #2. Any other answer and
management is full of #2.

Personally speaking,whether it is #1,#2 or some other rationale for
quitting,I think he could
have finished out the remainder of the season.
Unless you are being outright fired,that would be the classy approach in
my opinion.
Passion for the game notwithstanding.
