Just wondering, since Tampa Bay has officially changed its team name
from Devil Rays to Rays, is Google going to change the name of this
group?

I don't believe it would be google, they don't administer anything on
USENET, you just access it through Google Groups.

I don't know how or even anyone has any control of the newsgroups.

The Montreal Expos Baseball team newsgroup is still there. I don't know if
anyone posts any messages in it.
