Missouri's ban on ticket scalping is about to be repealed, with
legislators saying they just want to help individual consumers resell
unused sports tickets.
But it's the Missouri companies that want to get into the business of
reselling sports tickets over the Internet who may be the big winners.
And that includes the Cardinals and the Rams.
Both teams say they plan to start reselling their fans' unused tickets,
just as soon as the repeal takes effect. It will get them into the
growing Internet marketplace now dominated by the likes of eBay and
StubHub

People with tickets to sell could post them at any price on the teams'
websites, with the teams taking a percentage of the proceeds.
But individuals still would be barred from hawking marked-up tickets on
street corners outside stadiums in St. Louis because of local law...
