IMO, Inge would be a very good, but expensive, utility man. I'd hate to see
him unhappy with his role though. No doubt, however, that he will not be the
starting third baseman...

I missed this, thx for sharing. Nice article. I like Inge's attitude. I
hope he can work his way to maybe being the catcher in 2009 and he can be
the backup this year there and other positions. Kind of refreshing in this

If I remember correctly, Inge came up as a catcher and he was horrible
which was why they moved him to the infield and acquired Ivan
Rodriguez and Vance Wilson. Maybe he can become an "above average"
catcher as was mentioned in the article but somehow I doubt it and it
won't do anything to improve his batting skills either.
I like his attitude but he is not worth the amount of money they are
paying him especially if he remains in a utility role. I'll be
surprised if he's in a Tiger's uniform come March 31.
