Please? And if he can play a couple games at 1B a week, all the better.
If not, DH.

Damon needs to sit, Giambi DH, Philips, Betamit, Duncan 1B.

Two days in a row of Damon in the lineup is enough.

Against righties I'd probably have Giambi DH and Betamit at 1B as the
default, and against lefties I'd probably do Giambi at DH and Phillips
or Duncan at 1B, sometimes giving Giambi the day off and playing both
Phillips and Duncan. If Giambi can play 1B against the occasional
rigty, then I'd have Damon DH. Giambi should be in the majority of the
games though. The others will rotate around, get their share of time,
and pinch hit for each other.

Not for Uncle Joe. He'll put Betemit there, even though he's only played
winter ball.

I don't mind Betemit at 1B ... with Giambi at DH. Against righties,
that might be their best lineup, assuming Betemit is better than bad at 1B.

No. Giambi doesn't have the power to sacrifice.

Sure he does. His HRs just wouldn't go quite so far.

And Damon doesn't have power.

He doesn't clog the bases, either.
