OK, what did the Tigers do in the offseason? Evict a Detroit witch doctor
to build a new office? Disturb Tutankhaman's tomb on an Egyptian team
bonding trip? All I know is, that's some powerful curse on the team to get
nearly no-hit by *Gavin Floyd*...

They'd better come up with some exorcism ritual quick...

Actually, they gambled by betting it all on offensive upgrades
while ignoring their woeful pitching.

Might have worked if the offense produced like it appeared
they could....on paper, anyway.

The flailing Tigers offense is making most pitchers that face
them look like aces.

Nope. They are fine. It's just nine of the last eleven games. Not
a problem. Plenty of season left...

....or so go the mantra's of the Tigers fans these days. Wink

Don't look now, but Floyd's mojo is working tonight on the Twins as well.

His numbers this year are incredible, now allowing what, 18 hits on the
whole season in 38 or so innings? Wow.
