5 Games for Young :(

The BAD News:

Chris Young suspended for 5 games by Bob Watson of
the Commissioner's office. That is one start of course.


The GOOD News

* Jake Peavey fined, but NO suspension. Ditto for
Brian Giles.

* Jerk coach Gerald Perry suspended for 3 games.
He is a veteran of the Battle of Atlanta. Derek Lee
also set down for 5 games.


---> Presumably Clay Hensley will get the Spot Start
whenever Chris Young takes the suspension.

If they play it right, they might not even need a spot starter. I
don't think there's any reason they couldn't do this: appeal the
suspension, have Young make his scheduled Friday start, and then drop
the appeal. That way, they'd have an off day (Monday) during the
suspension, and they could get through the five games with the other
four starters.
