Game report

Game report for Sat nights game.

Cashed in some free passes the Nats gave me and got tickets in section
313.
What bad seats. Could not see the score board, pop flies, etc. Before
the first pitch, we moved to our normal 400 section seats.

1. Mets fans have little class. Rudest night ever at RFK.
2. Alou can really hit.
3. Reyes leads the league in cockiness. If I was the pitcher, he'd be
hbp.
4. Close plays on bases that never went the Nats way. Have to check
replays for:

the 5-3 on Flores in the 2nd,
the play were Young went up to get the ball (sure looked like he got
down in time),
Flores throw to Zimmerman, and especially the pick off on 2b.
Lannan and Belliard caught everyone by surprise especially the 2b ump
who wasn't looking in the 5th.

Anyone see these on tv?

5. Belliard can really fly. He scored from 1st on Zimmerman's double
in the 7th.

6. Nice clutch hit by Lannan.
7. Standing Os for Pena and Church. Pena had an ok game at the bat.
He field slightly better than Church, but at times seemed lost at RFK.
Church weaked popped with Logan on 2nd up in his ph appearance.
8. Lopez: terrible night, 0-5.

Have some giveaway tickets for today's game. I'll be there if the rain
holds off and I can get some work done.

No, but the glogger commented numerous times on the bad calls, and the
replays showing otherwise. Oh, you mentioned Buchnor was involved. Worst.
ump. ever.

Cool. I assumed it was a great, long double for Belliard to do that.
