Game was quiet...

What happened to all the dj-fed music at the Tribe games? I went to the
game Saturday, and didn't even notice it was gone until about the 4th inning
when I realized I hadn't heard ANY music AT ALL. I remember when as recent
as last year, players were like pro wrestlers....they each had their own
"theme music" that was played as they came up to bat. There was no music of
any sort to get the crowd fired up. Nice little sleepytime game.

Haven't been to a game this year, but that's an interesting observation. I
can hear Shapiro's answer tot hat question. "Well we're sort of rebuilding
right now, and the music guy was a little rough aroudn the edges. We wanted
to send him to buffalo to work on some stuff, and don't want to bring in
another guy until the time is right. This is a transition period, probably
around 2005 is the year we want to shoot for to have music again"
