Well, that's much better.

The A's played well enough to sweep this short series, and to settle
for one win is barely tolerable. But today? Was a good win.

Rich Harden did his thing, like only he can. We all know he had a 2.92
ERA and 1.11 WHIP in his past 38 games, spread over three seasons. The
guy can pitch. He proved it again today. I just hope he can stay
healthy.

Emil Brown came through in a big way, and the bullpen did its job.
Sure, every game can't be like this one, but it was very nice to see
the A's leave with a win over the "mighty" Red Sox.

It's just too bad they blew so many chances in the first game. The A's
basically dominated this series, as the Red Sox led for about one
inning, total, in 19 innings over two games (top of the sixth and
bottom of the tenth in the first game).

I just hate to see them waste opportunities like they did. They should
be 2-0 and the talk of baseball; instead, they're just relegated to a
sidebar.

A's Record: 1-1
A's Should-Be Record: 2-0
