I don't recall this happening before. Has it or am I just
misremembering?
Sounds like the Wily Mo as a first base back up experiment is not gong
well. Francona was asked if he expected WPM to play first and the answer
was along the lines of probably not. Snyder is being talked about as the
starter for Monday now. I wonder if, now that AA and AAA will be
starting back up if Johnson will be brought up to one of those levels.
I've got a nickname for Lester. It's Triple T. Jon. As in "Timing,
Timing, Timing". Cause for whatever reason, so far at least this kid's
got it. And IT IS everything in life.
As Tavarez came out to strt the 11th I wondered about not going the
secondinning with The Papenator but he did throw quite a few pitches in
his inning.
Right after the steal of second in the top of the 11th with the 2 - 1
count to Thomas I immediately called for them to walk him. And that run
cost the game.
