Anytime you get 16 hits, you should win the game.

And the A's did.

Everyone in the line-up had a hit, including Daric Barton -- who had
three hits. Five other players had two hits apiece.

Even a couple of the fans in attendance got hits!

Greg Smith -- like Dana Eveland before him -- didn't pitch well, but
he kept the team in the game until the offense could take the lead.
His ERA? Is now 3.00 for the year.

Huston Street was a bit shaky in the save, but he got the job done.

Overall, it was an enjoyable game for the Oakland A's.

A's Record: 11-8
A's Should-Be Record: 12-7
