Have to give Freel a lot of credit for trying to play hard - always hustling
but where is the common sense again with this club. If your starting Freel,
you got to realize he's constantly trying to play above his talent or just
making horrible baseball decisions. When the game gets to the 8-9 inning in
a close game, its time to replace him with some solid defense. I do enjoy
watching him but his constant over playing of the game can be disasterous.
The worst part of this is the that some of theis reckless baseball play is
rubbing off on some of the other Reds players. Guess we're back to the
original problem of no team leader on the club.
On another note - maybe the owner can see that without Dusty, the Reds are
winning ! John
