I usually am not a fan of throwing at players, but Kuroda had to do
it.

I loved Victorino's reactions - making it clear that it was not okay
to throw at his head, apparently forgetting that the Phillies had
thrown at Martin's head in the previous inning, and had thrown behind
Manny's head the previous game.

Sorry Shane - complain to your pitchers, not to the Dodgers.

I thought Victorino was classy. He clearly understood why he was thrown at,
he just asked it not be at his head. His interview after the game was classy
too. I have no problem with him.

Oh, he knew why he was thrown at. My point is that the fault
ultimately lay with his own pitchers. The Phillies threw dangerously
up and in repeatedly, after all.

Actually, I would rather it was up and in to a pitcher - but the ones
who were guilty weren't going to come to the plate, and a very strong
message had to be sent, asap.

The pitch was 2 feet over his head, so it'd not like Kuroda buzzed him.

Too bad Victorino isn't still in a Dodger uniform. Furcal, Manny and a
couple of others, not Kemp and Loney, play the game with passion, like
Victorino does.
