....in last night's game. How do you bench someone batting .400??? And
against the Senators???

Better have him in there tonight 'cause Tim (Batting practice Machine)
Redding is starting for Washington!!!!!

He was being rested. It was his 1st day off since his recall. I am sure he
will be back in the lineup tonight.

Lou wanted the kid to sit out so he could catch his breath. I would
say it was a smart move. Righthanded hitters were 8-22 while lefty's were
3-15 in yesterday's game. The time off for Theriot has seem to recharged
his batteries. The fact we have Theriot, Fontenot and Derosa and most of
the time only room for two is a healthy situation.
