Post subject: Feed Back on a Trade

I started the year with 5 keepers. I play in a shallow (4 player) NL +
AL keeper league.

My keepers were:

A-rod
Vlad
J. Santana
D. Lee
Manny R.

I made a series of trades the first week that ended up as followed.

I traded A-rod and Vlad for D. Ortiz, J. Bay, P. Martinez, and R.
Halladay.

What do you guys think?

I didn't want to part with A-rod and vlad but the deal I thought was
just too good and I needed pitching.

Ouch, now you need hitting. Never do a two for one, unless your
getting the one, (or 4 for 2 in this case) because now you also have to
drop two more players to get down to roster size. So, you actually
traded ARod, Vlad plus two to be named later for those four.

That's a great deal for you Ortiz and Bay are not too far off from A-Rod and
Vlad. Two stud pitchers. Halladay will have a big year
