That was the most pathetic baseball game I've ever listened to.
Farnsworth didn't want to be in Detroit the first time he played here.
They offered him a bunch then to be the Tigers' closer, but he turned
it down.
Pudge asked to be traded - he requested a meeting with Dombrowski,
pointing out that NYY needed a catcher and that he wanted to play
every day. After doing due diligence on Farnsworth, DD accomodated
Pudge and the trade was made. I guess no one asked Farnsworth what
he thought of the deal. He managed to screw both his current team
and his former team today!
On a brighter note, Pudge had his first HR as a Yankee today!
