I had been a defender of Rocky, but after tonight's pathetic, horrific
blown save, it's time for someone other than Biddle to be our closer. I
can't believe he made me curse in front of my infant son (proudly
wearing his little Expos cap) like that.

This game was shameful. Major leaguers my ass. Sure everyone has been
horrible this year, but that was disgusting. The defense let Biddle down and
Biddle did the rest. This is embarassing.

I couldn't believe it, either. I'm more disgusted with Vidro. He looks
like he doesn't care at the plate and misplayed more than the dropped pop
fly. This one really hurt.

Someone on another message board suggested that Biddle is stillin Montreal
because Minaya didn't want to look as if he got nothing in return for
Colon.

Not that it's a valid indicator, but when I run franchise simulations on
my Playstation 2 video game, the Expos generally win a pennant within that
time frame. The talent's there ... on paper.

I have been agreeing to this for at least a month. Drop him to the minors,
not just out of the closer spot.

The Expos aren't really a bad team. I think the strain of travelling and
playing in San Juan, plus all the rumors of location changes is taking it's
toll on everyone. Add in a terrible manager and yeah the Expos look bad.

However, the Expos have th ability to tun it around real fast. I predict
within 3 years, the Washington or Virginia "expos" will make a trip to the
world series.
