Tigers and Galarraga won a game where the Tigers only scored 3 runs.
And miracles of miracles, the bullpen didn't give the game away. Maybe
there's hope yet for this season.

On top of that, the Tigers made several great defensive plays to make
up for the blunders of the previous game that cost them the win over
the D'Backs.

Pudge's start of the rare 2-6-3 DP choked off a 7th inning rally and
Guillen started another DP that ended a rally and an inning.
Granderson and Joyce made some very good plays in the outfield and
Joyce's bat has been one of the few offensive surprises during the
losing streak.

Let's see if the Tigers can beat old man Johnson today behind
Robertson's pitching. That would be sweet.

Too bad they ended up losing today. They have horrific offense. They
can't hit, or, score runs. The pitching can only last, until the 4th,
or, 5th inning.....then they get tired, and quit. Right now, I'm
getting tired of watching their losing efforts.

The most overpaid, undermanaged team in all of Detroit
sports history.

Runs Per Season:
31' Yankees (1,067)
99' Indians (1,009)
2008 Tigers (192)

Maybe not in ALL of baseball history, but certainly the worst
in recent history.

The Tigers are the $130+ million flop of this season, for sure.

On the bright side, the ALC is so weak this season, that just one
or two decent winning streaks by the Tigers could put them right
back in the hunt, and there is a lot of season left.

Have the Tigers been a whopping disappointment this season? Yes.

Is all hope lost for the Tigers this season? Not yet.
