Okay, I'm in a computer fantays league, not roto. We play a 162 game
season using RL stats from the previous year. We are currently
conducting our draft and I'm planning on taking a starting pitcher
next (I have Oswalt, Webb, Baker, Liriano, McGowan and Bergmann as
keepers from last season). Cueto has better minor league numbers, but
pitches in a band box. Lannan has slightly better stats for next
season, but seems a more iffy prospect. Any suggestions?

I had no one better to keep on my 15 man roster than McGowan and
Bergmann. Well, maybe Cliff Floyd instead of Bergmann ...
In the end, I drafted both Cueto and Lannan. Unfortunately, my bullpen
is spearheaded by Taylor Buchholz, Frank Francisco and Dennys Reyes.

How many teams in your league, 32?....as those players are NOT keepers
in my 16 team league. >> Stay informed about: Cueto or Lannan? |

16 team league.
Buchholz was the only keeper of those three relievers; the other two
were drafted after several rounds.
My keeper list before the draft was:
Russell Martin'
Miguel Cabrera
Chase Utley
Chipper Jones
Brendan harris
Conor Jackson
Lastings Milledge
Jeremy Hermida
Brandon Webb
Roy Oswalt
Scott Baker
Dustin McGowan
Francisco Liriano
Taylor Buchholz (worth more in a computer league than roto league)
Jason Bergmann
My draft so far:
Shin-Soo Choo
Denard Span (hope he's not another Reggie WIllits)
Johnny Cueto
Frank Francisco
Ben Zobrist
John Lannan
Dennys Reyes
Buddy Carlyle
Doug Mientkiewicz
Worth noting that in our league, players are limited to no more than
115% of their ABs/IPs from the previous year.
