Otsuka is named the closer but Cordero comes in to pitch the 8th down by
only a run! I was shocked when he gave up an insurance run (that's sarcasm,
for those who don't recognize it when they see it). How much can Rangers
fans take and what could Showalter possibly be thinking?

I understand not pitching Otsuka as you don't bring in your closer
when you're a run down. But, couldn't Showalter have brought ANYONE
else in to pitch the 8th besides Cordero?! How about Gerald Laird?
He's used to throwing 60'6"?

Yeah, it wasn't a closer situation so Utsuka probably wasn't the right call.
I think I'm just blinded by my disgust for Cordero and CJ Wilson.

I know they're being groomed as starters but is there any chance the Rangers
bring up Diamond or Danks and let them work out of the pen for a bit?

Also what's the latest word on Kinsler's injury?
