Congratulations Dodger Faithful.

Not to get too far ahead, but would a Dodgers - Angels World Series be a
big deal in Los Angeles, or not so much?

A Dodgers-Angels series would be one of the biggest happenings
ever here in the Los Angeles/Southern California area. The
folks in Orange County want the separation from Los Angeles
county and there is so much competition between the two. It
might not be that big a deal though for TBS because they favor
the eastern teams so much. I'm certain that television would
prefer an eastern team playing a western team in the world
series.

Right now though, it looks as if the Angels will not do their
part to make a cross town or "freeway" world series happen the
way they are struggling against Boston. I was glad to see
Angels come through in game #3 last night in Boston. It was a
great baseball game to watch. 12 innings & 5 1/2 hrs. By the
time the game ended it was almost 1 am in Boston and the two
teams have to be back to play today. I'd love to see the
Angels force a game #5 back in Anaheim.

Mark

Interesting that the Angels began using "Los Angeles" in their name, to
perhaps compete more in that market.

Of course that would be FOX for the World Series, and all the games
would start at 8:30 Eastern no matter where they were played. At least
there would be some daylight during the games.

I hope they kick Boston's ass.
