Congratulations to the Rockies from a Padre fan

I've got to say, your guys earned this playoff appearance.
The 14-1 push down the stretch was one of the most amazing things I've seen
in baseball when the pressure's on. Your guys can hit, and hit some more,
play good defense, and have much better pitching than they get credit for.

Congratulations (damn, it hurt to say that).

I'll be rooting for the Colorado Cinderella story to be fulfilled in the
playoffs.

Spoken like a gentleman. As a die-hard Rockies fan, it was hard to
see either team lose that one. They both dug deep and played their
guts out. I wish it had been a cleaner ending, but it was an ugly
throw to home, an ugly slide by Holliday, and an ugly attempt to make
a play by the Padres' catcher, and the balance ever-so-slightly tipped
the Rox' way. Let's hope they can keep the magic going just a little
longer. See you next season.
