| On a truly remarkable 76 games for Lancaster and on his promotion to
Portland. Hitter's park or not, nobody else put up numbers as good as Bubba.
In 76 games he had 322 at bats, 95 runs, 119 hits, 27 doubles, a triple and
22 home runs He had 83 RBI, 214 total bases, 48 walks, only 39 Ks, 10 SB and
4 CS. He hit .370 .455 .665. He plays center field and bats lefty.

From what I have heard, Lancaster is great for left handed hitters. It
will be interesting to see how he does in Portland.
Chances are, if he is going to make it with the Sox, he will have to
play some other position other than CF.
Can't this team find some right handed hitters? >> Stay informed about: Congrats to Bubba Bell |

I agree. As much as I like seeing the Sox line up have some L/R
balance in it, it seems that there's a considerable lack of RH hitters
in the pipeline, at least in the prospects that we hear about. >> Stay informed about: Congrats to Bubba Bell |

I suppose it goes in trends. Obviously, I don't advocate drafting RH
hitters just for the sake of it if they don't project as well as LH
hitters.
What it might mean is that the team may have to look toward free
agency or trades to fill the void. >> Stay informed about: Congrats to Bubba Bell |

Actually, they have a lack of hitters so this is good news no matter which
side of the plate they hit from. >> Stay informed about: Congrats to Bubba Bell |
